Over the years we have been asked to carry out a number of adaptations for the elderly and disabled and are now registered contractors with Essex and Suffolk county councils along with Braintree, Colchester and Tendering local councils. We have in the past also worked with Mencap.
Previous works have included level entry doors with ramped access, conversion of bathrooms into wet rooms along with through floor lifts and kitchen adaptions.
We also build extensions, conservatories, porches and garages.
We can convert your garage from that place where you throw all your rubbish into a useful living space.
Extensions
Extending your property is sometimes cheaper than moving or perhaps you like where you live. We can give you a competitively priced estimate using your own plans or if you need some professional help, we can supply our own surveyor to design your extension, porch or conservatory, all of which we can carry out from start to finish.
Adaptations
Having worked closely with local authorities and occupational therapists for a number of years, we have gained a wealth of knowledge and can help you design whatever you need. Maybe a simple front door ramp or a complete wet room with a low level shower and seat. Sometimes it’s as simple as a couple of strategically placed grab rails to help with access in and out of a doorway.
Refurbishments
These come under many guises from new flooring and a door to a porch or perhaps redesigning a bedroom or bathroom, maybe a new kitchen. Outside we can lay a new patio, build a shed or even a Pizza/Bread oven (just like that well known Essex chef.)
